Hey everybody. It's Carolyn. I'm the manager of Betty's Toy Box. And today we are going to talk about width, girth and circumference when it comes to dildos.

So -- width, girth, and circumference, why are they important? Well, the reason they're really important is because it's going to save you from picking up a dildo that's either going to be way too small or way too big for your purposes.

Okay. Now, one of the important things to know starting out is usually what an average is like. And this is Top Gun Tommy. This is a really, really average-sized dildo. In fact, if you Google the average-sized penis, it's this proportion right here. So I have to look at my notes 'cause I'm bad with numbers, but Tommy is 4.5 inches in insertable length. So that's how much can go into the body. And then 1.4 inches in width and 4.39 in girth or circumference.

So this is what this all means. And insertable length is how much goes in the body. Width is literally the width. If I take my little measuring tape that when you're eyeballing, it is going to be across this way. Manufacturers like listing things in width. I'm not sure why, but most people, when they're thinking of something like this, that looks like a penis, they think in terms of girth, right? So girth and circumference are the same thing, and it would be the measurement around the widest part of the dildo.

So at, Betty's, you're going to find that we have listed the length, the insertable length, the width, but also the girth. Alright. So if you're keeping in mind that this is an average girth, we can take a look at a couple of others and see how quickly things can escalate.

If you're not paying attention to your measurements, alright, this is the King Triple Density. Now it actually goes up quite a bit. It's nine inches, and then 1.7 in width, which makes the girth 5.34 inches. So already you're a lot bigger.

So this is why it's really important to look at width and girth, girth being the same as circumference, right? If you remember back to math class, circumference is the distance around the circle, right? So when you're dealing with this type of things that is called girth, and then you're looking at something like this, again, this is actually a Girthy. It is called a Girthy -- it's the Colours Girthy. Alright? And it is seven inches of insertable length. It is six inches around. So look at that girth, okay, look how much bigger it is. So this is why it's really important.

Now you might expect if you're looking at something called the King Chubby, that it is going to be large, but this is actually a monster. So if you look at it compared to something average in terms of width and girth and circumference, it is extremely, extremely large. In fact, it's 9.42 inches around. Okay, that is a lot. Three inches plus going across this way. So there you have it.

All right, that's my little lesson in width, girth, and circumference. Make sure you have an idea of what you're getting into and a really handy thing to look at if you're not sure. And you want a large, just measure a pop can. Okay, if the circumference or girth of a pop can is going to freak you out, then do not get a dildo that is anywhere near that same size.
