Hey, everybody. It's Carolyn, I'm the manager at Betty's. And today we're gonna look at the Magic Wand Plus.

This is the upgrade on the legend, the Magic Wand. And I'm gonna compare both for you, so that you can decide which one might be right for you.

So this is the Magic Wand Plus. Now, it looks a lot like the Magic Wand Original, now that they are side-by-side together. I'm gonna explain some of the differences.

You can watch my video on the original Magic Wand, so you can see all of the features on that. And then you can compare and see which one might be better suited for you.

So the Magic Wand Plus, what's the plus all about? Well, they've added more power and some really great features that I'm gonna explain to you.

Magic wand, you might know it as Hitachi Magic Wand. That's an older name. Hitachi's not associated anymore.

So this is the Magic Wand Plus, and the big difference with this is it has more power, as if that could even be possible, but it does. So let's take a look at what this beauty does. It actually has four speeds.

Magic wand Original has two. You've got your high and your low, your lowest is 5,000 rpm, and your highest is six, which is just mind-blowing.

But on this one, what you've got is 2,700 on the lowest. Then you go to 3,800, then you've got 5,400. So that's even higher than the lowest Magic Wand Original setting. And then you've got 6,300 rpm.

The  original Magic Wand is 6,000, and this is 6,300, so much more powerful. Its top two functions are more powerful than the two functions on the Magic Wand Original.

Now the other thing you need to know is that in terms of size, you can see they're fairly comparable. This one is longer by a titch, but it is lighter. So this little bit of the end here is so much easier to wield, and because the motor is lighter in this one, this is a bit more top heavy than this one.

Okay? So we have a size difference slightly, but a weight difference as well from the Original to the Plus. All right. The other thing is that in the Plus, the head is a smooth silicone, and we love silicone because it is non porous and body safe. It's easy to clean and it's not gonna harbour bacteria. You can see on the Original, it has a vinyl head with grooves.

Attachments are still gonna work on this. If you have an attachment that you'd like to put on, to turn this into a rabbit or into an insertable, you can get attachments that fit standard Magic Wand sizes, which is great.

Now the other thing you need to know about this one is that also, like the Original, it has to be plugged in to be used. That's why you can rely on this. You're not gonna run out of batteries. You're not gonna run out of your charging. So you plug it in and this is Old Reliable.

What they've added to this though, is that you can take the plug out. So you just do the little release button and it pops out. So you can't use it when it's not plugged in, but it makes it so easy for storing. Like you could just leave the plug plugged in, and tuck this away in your drawer.

You're not, you know, curling up six feet of cord every time you wanna put your wand away. So that is super cool. And then you just plug it in, pop it back in there, and you are good to go. So that's another great feature. Like I said, six feet of cord. So you have some space to move. If it's plugged in next to your bed, you're not tethered to a short little cord. But its six feet does have to be plugged in.

Now, the neck on this one is also nice and flexible, so it can kind of move with your body. And you've got an ABS plastic body on it here.

I know you just wanna see how it works. All right. So, top button is On, and that's gonna set you to your lowest setting. Now you've also got, can you see the lights there? You see that light lit up? That's gonna also indicate what level you're at. So you just press the plus button two, three times.

So again, that is more powerful than the low setting of the Magic Wand Original. And that is more powerful than the highest setting of the Magic Wand Original. Practice is making my hand numb from touching it. But you can see that the lights are all lit up, and then you wanna come down.

There you go. So the really great thing about this is because it starts so nice and low. You can kind of have this buildup, but also some people found the original Magic Wand just too powerful. It can be numbing for some people that way. You've got this really nice buildup, so easy to use buttons.

Now like the Original, this is not waterproof. Don't put it near water. You're not gonna like what happens if you do, this is a plug-in. So, you know, putting it near water would be like trying to bathe with your hair dryer, a big no-no!

So there you have it. This is the Magic Wand Plus in all of its super powerful glory. It's a step up from the Magic Wand Origina:l it's a bit longer, definitely lighter, and even more powerful.
